Is Thom Yorke a secret forró fan?

Thom Yorke's latest musical venture, as yet unnamed has a couple of surprising additions - not least of all, the vocalist and drummer Mauro Refosco, of the Brazilian band Forró in the Dark. Then again, he's also got Red Hot Chilli Peppers' legendary bass-player, Flea along for the ride.

We'd certainly never have expected the King of Angst to join sides with a musician whose band is dedicated to reinventing the music of Northeasetern Brazil and its famous dancestyle.

We're not sure when or if Thom will bring his project this side of the Atlantic, but if you're a fan of forró - or of the band Forró in the Dark - they'll be playing at Guanabara on 10th November!
